The Girdwood Activity Bus is in jeopardy!!! Anchorage School District Superintendent, Carol Comeau, is recommending that it be eliminated from next year's budget along with a handful of other services. Voice your opinion about this topic on Thursday February 9 at 5 PM at the budget meeting to be held at 5530 E. Northern Lights Blvd. If the Anchorage School District is genuinely concerned about the education of children, they'd look to make cuts to their overhead and not services and programs directly affecting children.
