Announcements
3. The Girdwood wood lot is opened Saturday, May 10. It will be open through August 30, Saturdays from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. It is located at the Industrial Park off Ruane Road.
4. The GBOS office is using the Municipal Boards and Commissions on-line calendaring system to ensure public notice is given for local public meetings where the GBOS either is responsible for the meeting or may attend in numbers 3 or more. The schedules are published in the Anchorage Daily News.
5. 5/30/08 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. Friday – New Library and Community Center Grand Opening. Mayor Mark Begich, Senator Stevens, Senator Bunde and Representative Hawker will all be in attendance for the Ribbon Cutting ceremony, which begins at 6:45 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

14. AWWU Water Transmission Main (Phase IIB) - Lynda Barber-Wiltse
· Pre-design and moving into design to complete the final segment of the Water Transmission Main (Phase IIB). This segment finishes the loop and connects the pipe that currently ends at the school (Phase IIA) to the pipe across Glacier Creek that comes from the well house. The alignment of the water main is being coordinated with the HLB Holtan Hills (formerly known as Lower Matrix) subdivision.
· Request for LUC support, and letter of non-objection from GBOS.
