Available position
Road, Fire and Facility Administrator/Manager.
Per the directives of the Girdwood Board of Supervisors, letters of interest and resumes are being accepted for a community paid Road, Fire and Facility Administrator/Manager.
Letters of interest with resumes and any restrictions to completing any of the responsibilities, duties, and qualification in the job description will be accepted through May 7, 2008. The letters of interest with resumes shall be delivered to Chief William Chadwick at the Girdwood Fire Hall. No consideration will be give to letters of interest with resumes received after the closing date of May 7, 2008 at 5pm Alaska Daylight Savings time. Interviews will be schedule with interested parties upon receipt of the written expression of interest.
The intent is to announce the person selected to fill the position by the evening of May 10th. The selected party shall accept the position no later than May 14, 2008 and begin work no later than June 11, 2008.
The position is a full time position that will pay up to $38,000 per year DOE.
